38. Changing Colour of the clips

Recently we revised given feedback for our music video. One of the main comments was that our footage looked too rare, meaning that our clips were not looking conventional to our genre which is pop. After listening to this comments, we too action straight away. To change the colours we played around with the colour board, situation and exposure. Below here are some examples of before and after.
Before

The before clip is the original clip that we downloaded from the camera. As you can see the original is duller and not full of life. We opened the levels on situation. We found by changing highlights and shadows made a real difference from the original. By doing this it made the video seem brighter and full of life. We wanted to play around with the colour board but we haven't figured out what kinds of colour image we want our video as we would need to get it to match though out.

Before

This is another example of what we edited. Again this shot was done outside near grass. When we turned the levels up the brick wall became more noticeable and the grass became very bright too. We did the same as before as it worked well.
After

In conclusion Taking action on our feedback has made our music video brighter and more professional. We are glad that we took on this feedback as it has made a large improvement on our video.
