43. Finding We Still Have Gaps

We watch through our music video today and noticed we still have lots of gaps but we have used all of our footage. We sat down and discussed what we could do to solve this problem. To solve this problem we figured we needed to add in a new location to fill these two large gaps. After doing some research as look at what is nearby, we choose Rochester. The reason why we haven't choose a far location is because we can't spend too much as we already spent money on going London twice.
The reason why we have picketed this location is because of the wide range of settings. Rochester has a lot to off as it is a very historical place. Rochester is also very pretty to look at as it has a lot of green areas and also beautiful architecture. I did some further research into Rochester and what it has to offer.
Rochester Castle

Rochester Castle is a very historical place to visit because of its history behind it and it is a very old building. I think we could get some very interesting shots here. We could get a wide range of shots including angles. As the castle is assessable we as able to do a high angle shot or even a birds eye shot depending how we hold the camera. This building will also act as a good back drop for a two person shot of a mid shot.

Rochester Cathedral

Rochester cathedral is a very beautiful piece architecture that dates back to 1079. This building will give us a lot of opptunity to film as there is a wide landscape around it. We are also able to go inside the cathedral which will be quite interesting as the majority of our music video is set outside. This setting will give a good mix and show that the friends are out on different days and not just London. The cathedral is also the number 1 place to go to in Rochester.  

Rochester High street

The high street has a lot of shops, bars and restraints. This will give us a wide rang of places we could go into. We are able to do some shots of us having a meal here, like we originally planned to do for Dockside Chatham. This high street I find is not like most as it is not very modem in its architecture of the buildings on this street are very dated or have been converted into a store. I liked the look of this as it makes it very different to London's architecture.     

Overall this poster has been very helpful as it has concluded what we discussed today in class. This post has also allowed me to do some further research into Rochester and what is has to offer. This has also reassured me that Rochester is the best place to film that is convergent to all of us.
