We have had an on-going problem with colouring a particular
section of our video. In an earlier segment we made a jump cut. This was us
walking down a path but with the jump cut it made it seem like time has passed.
When it came to changing our clips from raw to lighter and better we faced a
new and on-going challenge. The jump cut clip was originally one continuous
clip. Once we edited the colouring all the same we played the video though. We
noticed that they all looked different but we could not understand why. For a
long time we have tried to play around with each of them trying to get them to
be the same.
We have come to the conclusion that we are never going to get them to all be the same even though they are the same clip. We came up with the idea that we should make the clips, even more different to each other. This way it would look like it has been done on purpose. Each jump cut the video changes to a different colour. This solved our problem that we had as it looked much better.
I am happy that we were able to come to a solution to our on-going problem with the jump cut.
