63. Receiving the Next Part of Our Course Work

Today we have received the next stage of our course work. We got told that have to now make a digipak and a magazine advertisement.

This will involve doing research and analyse of three digipaks form the pop genre. This will give us an idea of what a professional looking advertisement will look like. From this each member of my team will make their own mock up, of a digipack.  Then my team and I will film us discussing the designs and their effectiveness before settling on our final design.
For the magazine advertisement first we are going to interview our target audience and look at what they typically read. By doing this will tell us what our target audience are really looking for.  Next I am going to analyse what needs to be included in my advertisement. Then I am going to research two examples of adverts for an album analysing the effectiveness of the design choice as well as how it is un/successful in advertising the music on offer. This will give us an idea of what a professional looking advertisement will look like. After this each member of my team are going to make a mock-up design. This way we will get a range of ideas and we can make the best one possible. Once we have all done this we are going to sit down and discuss which one we like best. After this we will create our final one.
